LISTEN TO GOD’S PLAN OF SALVATION

Acknowledge you are a sinner who needs to be saved and that you cannot save yourself.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

Romans 3:23

But God commends his love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8

For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life, through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:23

Sin separates mankind from God.

For by grace are you saved, through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not by works lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to good works, which God has before ordained that we should walk in them.

Ephesians 2:8-10

Believe that God loves you and desires to forgive you, that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and that He is the only way to heaven.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:16-17

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:6

 

Mankind’s attempt to connect to God.

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:13

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14

And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.

Ephesians 4:32

Confess and repent of your sins, tell God that you are sorry and want to be forgiven.

If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1 John 1:9

That if you shall confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shall believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. For with the heart man believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. For the scripture says, Whosoever believes on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 10:9-13

Jesus bridges the gap between mankind and God.

FACT: Humanity is hopelessly lost and there is nothing you can do to earn your
way to heaven.

FACT: The good news is that God will help anybody who calls out to Him.

Dear Lord Jesus, forgive me of my sins, cleanse my heart of
all sin and wickedness, and come in to my life and be my Lord and
Savior. I believe you shed your precious blood on the cross; you died
and rose again on the third day for me. Save me Jesus, I know I can’t
save myself. Thank you for giving me eternal life and a place in heaven
with you. Amen.
